Workers hut at Honister slate mine.Had to remove some vapour trails an that was it.Not sure if it would work better in black and white?

Very nice photo - I think you made the right decision to keep the colours, the brown makes a nice contrast with the blue sky.

This looks almost surreal, the rusty hut and blue sky, with greyness inbetween. I like the composition, and as has been said, I think B&W would have been too bland in this instance.

A very striking image, especially with the tiny patch of grass setting off the rust of the derelict hut.

It was the colour's that drew me to the thumbnail actually.
The brown against the grey and blue works very well, quite surreal.

It's the quality of the light that makes this image. I wonder if a more broody sky might help if converting to black and white. Nice shot though Karl and I think I know that hut! David

It's interesting because as much as I think the colour is nice... I think I would prefer the b&w. It would have much more mood. Rgds, Leilani
