Hello Leslie,
This is indeed the time of the year for take a picture of the cemetery.
We get a nice carpet of leaves between the graves, but very old graves.
Splendid architecture picture.
Pleasant depth and perspective picture.
Very well done, TFS.
Kindest regards,
John.

Hello Les,
Very bright autumn colours and a clear blue sky would never have created the same "gothic" - or "halloweenish"- atmosphere as these dying brown leaves and the dark clouds. The tombstones look very old and most likely mark the graves of people long forgotten, and it's easy to imagine the old church as being largely abandoned. Nevertheless this is a very pleasant photo with beautifully mild and well matching colours. But don't go there alone in the dark ;-).
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Les,
The image has a certain poignancy but at the same time is very appealing. I like the low point of view and the opportunity to view the church in the background. The threatening sky makes a good foil for the carpet of fallen leaves with their gold/green tones. Excellent technical realisation.

Hello Les,
This is a very finely composed photograph of this country graveyard, the old lichen covered gravestones making a strong foreground feature in a carpet of fallen autumn leaves and with the church and its tower perfectly placed in the frame beneath a threatening cloudy, almost monochrome, sky.
I very much like how you have controlled what was probably an overly bright sky and I also like how you have resisted any temptation to oversaturate the colours of the fallen leaves as their colours are just perfect. Excellent details and sharpness too.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. Just one thing intrigues me: looking at your exif data I see that the light is stated as "tungsten" - I would have expected a much warmer colour temperature in this image if that were the case as this was clearly taken in daylight.

Hello Leslie, a great point of view looking past the gravestones towards the church.
Lovely soft colours and excellent sharp quality. The sky completes the scene, well done, I like it a lot.
Regards Jean.

Bonjour Leslie,
J'aime beaucoup le travail de post production dans cette composition, surtout au niveau des nuages en arrière plan qui donnent un côté très dramatique à la composition.
Bon dimanche

Hello Leslie,
this a very syggestive picture with these old and ancient graves. The grey sky gives a touch of mistery together with the autumn colours.
I like very much the English cemeteries, very simly and misterious. They're very old and full of history.

Hello Les,
A photograph that represents very well the atmosphere of November 1, at least like we're used to remember it. But the last years November 1 has been a bright and sunny day. This year so far November has brought us already a lot of quite warm and beautiful days.
However, a very moody image.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Les,
This is a very impressive shot, the colors so rich and its a beautiful subject too, that level of creepiness I really enjoy. The depth to the church is great and that sky is so threatening. This would be a great photo for a movie poster.
Cheers

Hello Les, very good picture of this beautiful and interesting composition in the old cemetery (reminds me of visits to a child, the English cemetery in my town), nicely captured in this beautiful image with good sharpness, light, color and quality. Good evening and happy start to the week.
Best wishes from the south of Spain.

Hello Leslie
it's a "landscape" I took in picture last week close to Manchester. See my WS. It's typical from England and maybe UK, where you can find benches to rest. The cloudy sky prevents you to get some vibrant orange hues of the dead leaves.

Hi Leslie!
I always find these photos of graveyards very interesting, they are so full of atmosphere and different from ours, here. I like the cloudy sky and the fallen leaves covering the ground. Mysterious and well captured, seems taken from a movie.

Hello Leslie
An atmospheric autumn shot. The clouds above seem desaturated, having lost their colour, but not their threat. Good low pov.
A gohtic pastorale!

Hi Les
I'm such a big fan of graveyards and cemeteries, wish we could see more of them here on TE.
Really like the autumn blanket you spoke of, it wouldnt have the same look in June.
I also like the scattered look of the subjects.
How could anyone not like this!
Cheers
Craig
