Out on an Autumn Day, a photo from Lancashire, England

Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

When the sun is shining on an autumn day, you just have to get out and enjoy it!

This scene was captured a few hundred yards from my house, when a farm track leads towards farm buildings.

On the horizon is a lovely, old farm house, which is now used as a family home, whilst grazing sheep are just discernible in the upper field.

In this area, most of the autumn leaves have gone but there are a few remaining, to confirm the season and add a little colour.

Hello Bev,
I suppose you come this way a lot more often than three times a year, but now I can compare this view with very similar photos taken last February and July. It's no great surprise that the trees and the ground change, but it's fun to see the differences so closely and to realize that on sunny days each season has its advantages. April-May should be the next time.

You live in a wonderful landscape, the country road cares for create depth and perspective.

The diagonal line of the fence is giving dynamism to the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the fields. The light is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

Autumn days can be great for walks. This is a great picture as proof (should that be necessary, which I can't really imagine). Lovely use of the branch to frame the top of the shot!

You were very lucky with this beautiful autumn weather. Here it has been pretty rainy and cloudy recently. Excellent panorama composition. I really like the autumn tones of the leaves against the blue sky and green fields. Very well done.

we even can feel the fresh air here.
I liked the diagonals of this track combined with the lines of the fence while the curtains of leaves cover the upper part of the compo. lovely rural area.
here soybean is trying to went up of the soil, but there is not so much rain and the plants hate the cold nights we are having here in november, yesterday I had to go to the mass using a jacket because the cold wind.

The branches and the remaining foliage show us it's autumn.
But the photo also has a bit of summer to it.

Beautiful light indeed. This road along the fence seems familar but I cannot tell what season was the other photo from. Everything seems perfectly thought through. The tree branches with some remaining leaves very nicely fit the sky to decorate it.
The road and fence well lead the eye to the centre of the scene.
Not so many leaves around, it could pretend a spring with the great sunlight.

This is a lovely autumn view. I like the how lines of the fence and the patch of grass move closer together as they move into the distance. The leaves on top make a nice, partial frame, and I like the bright, blue sky. Take care!

A beautiful autumn day, in the middle of nature, this path is ideal for a walk along the fence and the green fields, magnificent trees in the background, as well as these branches that cover the upper part of the photo adding beauty.
