Horse and Tower, a photo from London, England

Photographer's Note

The Big Ben is one of the icons of the city of London, and is famous in the whole world.

While I was going down along the stairs towards the pier of Westminster, this impressive tower was appearing above my head with the cloudy sky as a grey background, and then I saw also the sculpture of the horse, and tried to combine both elements in a closed visual angle, with the incorporation of the lamppost.

Hereby I offer you a vision partial and a bit different from the Big Ben.

El Big Ben es uno de los iconos de la ciudad de Londres, y es famoso en todo el mundo.

Mientras bajaba por las escaleras hacia el embarcadero de Westminster, esta impresionante torre aparecía sobre mi cabeza con el cielo nublado como fondo, y entonces vi también la escultura del caballo, e intenté combinar ambos elementos en un ángulo visual cerrado, con la inclusión de la farola.

De esta manera os ofrezco una visión parcial y un poco diferente del Big Ben.

El encuadre quedó genial con la inclusión del caballo mirando la torre! Esta vista del Big Ben es bastante original, y los detalles están bellísimos, con muy buena nitidez! Excelente trabajo!

Effectivement, on n'a pas souvent l'occasion de voir big ben sous cet angle. On a l'impression que le cheval va continuer sa cavalcade sur la célèbre tour et la réduire en poussiere. Bel effet

Mi querido Josep,
una composición ajustada perfecta.... con unos colores finos y elegantes, qué a pesar del mal tiempo, has sabido potenciar magistralmente.
El punto de vista es muy original, encuadrando los dos elementos muy bien.
Me gustan las sombras y contrastes que has conseguido.... algo difícil de conseguir, en un día en el que el sol brilla por su ausencia.

Veo que tengo visitar tu pagina mas a menudo, pues parece que os vais animando a subir algunas fotos.
Esta composicion es super-original, ademas de sumamente atractiva, me encanta la vision del caballo, que parece querer saltar al Big Ben, tanto la escultura como la torre tienen un alto nivel de detalle.
Un encuadre muy diferente de este famoso rincon de la ciudad, captado con gran solvencia de iluminacion y nitidez.

Bonita foto tomada de bajo angulo por este monulmento famoso de Londres y la escultura famosa tambien.
La nitidez de los detalles es perfecta, y es interesante ver el cavallo como si estuviera galopando para conquistar el reloj :-)
Conozsco bién esta escultura de la reina Boadicea y añadi a una foto de la galerìa una critica y un WS a proposito di esta storia vieja de Britannia.
