Photographer's Note

A view of Westminster Abbey in London, taken during a stroll from Tower Bridge to Westminster along the Oystergate Walk. I caught the metro tube back to Tower Bridge Station. Built between 960-1065 AD. More information here:

Hello Chris,
This seems to be a view of the Westminster Abbey from a rarely seen angle. The buildings in the foreground are unfamiliar to me but provide a nice composition. The colours are slightly odd and make me think of a scan of an old slide. (I have lots of experience of slightly odd colours.) ;-)

Hello Chris,

This is interesting; a viewpoint that I don't think I have ever seen before! I like it very much because it reveals the ancient majesty of the cathedral but also includes the eclectic mix of more ordinary buildings. It makes the whole scene seem very cosy.

Quite interesting angle. I had no idea that there are such fairly small old buildings right at the heart of Westminster. And the abbey in the background looks great of course.

Les immeubles cadrent bien l'abbaye. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'abbaye de Westminster. La lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

A unique POV found, Chris.
Even as light was not best condition, English weather, manage a good view of the famous towers from its neighborhood, a place we do not see regularly.

Hello Chris,
A great photo of Westminster Abbey and its iconic twin towers, which stand out well from the cloudy sky. The foreground with those brick houses and green trees is very appealing as well. It shows this landmark in a way not often seen.

Hi Chris,
An angle which is not often used to capture this famous church. I like how you have captured it among other various buildings, there are plenty of styles and colors here and even a flag on top of the tower.
The weather was very much British but it didn't stop you from taking a great picture here,

a pity they don't permit photos inside. I didn't visit the place because this. a nice view of the towers including the areas around.
