On a beautiful morning of silver and gold

For me one of the (several) advantages of living in northern England is the need to go no further than the local park to (very) occasionally experience a special kind of autumn morning. A magical combination of frost, lingering mist and brilliant sunshine that compels you to photograph anything and everything because it’s all so fantastic; but sadly, not for long!

Just the usual small, brightness/contrast/ saturation adjustments.

Beautiful atmosphere you've captured here! Great colorful sunspots and morning mist. Very tough lighting which you've mananged perfectly. Well done.

Waking up early and getting out of a warm bed to go trudging through the frost and mist, always pays back with excellent results.
This is a classic picture of the British countryside as I remember it, and miss it. I like the use of the braches to help frame the shot. the only thing is that I find the little sun spot on the reeds in the foreground a little distracting.

nicely captured bill good composition, and lighting the mist on the water is good too, i think that the branch coming from the left is distracting though and could be missed easily, this may improve the picture!

What a rich composition!! Mist, ducks, and expecially sun light are gorgeus!! I like the light over the tree far away, and a little shdow in the near area. Bravo!

This is a fine shot! the sun is bright, but not too much. the frost looks good on the grass. it's actually the first thing that caught my attention...i hadn't read the note yet and tried to figure out..
