THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND WORK_ SHOPS.
the work shops have been very good esp. Gary`s,
I took a whole load pictures of variations on these leaves which I thought about long and hard as to which to postand finally chose the one with the complete rock because I love the textures and the shape of it and thought the colured leaves would help bring that out.Plus I wimpped out at such a drastic crop as garys.think I may well reshot this one in the next couple of days.
ps it looks much better pinted out at 600dpi onto photo paper.

Beautiful colors on the leaves. I like the contrast between the colors and the neutrals of the large stone and the pebbles. Kind of like a double frame.

Nicely composed shot. I like the contrast of the bright leaves on the neutral stone. I would like to see a little more of seperation between the leaves because they are so beautiful. Nice work!

Composition originale. Bon piqué de l'ensemble. Beau contraste des couleurs avec la pierre et les cailloux.
Original composition. Good piqué of the unit. Beautiful contrasts of the colors with the stone and stones.

Beautiful colours and well executed presentation. The simple background makes the leaves stand out.

The colors of these leafs are really amazing, never seem such colors, especially the purple. How about showing us a tree with these leaves still on them. I tried a PS mainly by reframing, i.e. cropping just below and to the right of the leafs to make a portrait mode where the leaves would make a nice diagonal, it seemd OK butI wanted to add a frame with the same colors as the leaves to lighten up the picture but didn't succeed in doing something suitable, but I submit it anyway, just to give you an idea of what I was looking for.

I like the colours here. The leaves stand out against the dullness of the stone and gravel. I have to say I prefer the closer crop in ninadev's WS. This made me try and even closer crop to isolate the colours of the leaves and create an almost abstract composition. Hope you like my WS.

belle photo, ça ressemble a la photo que j'ai poster cet automne, qui s'apelle autumns colours :) mais je les ai placé en fleur. Très bien réussi, bonne idée de placer le tout sur une roche, bravo
