Photographer's Note

Like many ports up and down the country, Ipswich Waterfront, has been, and still is undergoing a major transformation.

The majority of the Flour Mills and Maltings have already been converted into hotels, restaurants and apartments and the remainder well on their way to becoming the same, with new buildings interwoven that compliment the whole area. One building that remains untouched thankfully is The Old Customs House, which remains a focal point of the waterfront.
Neptune Quay and Haven Marina seem to be attracting more and more yachts everyday and the whole area is taking on a distinct Mediterranean look and feel, pavement bars and restaurants now overlook a more "tranquil" setting.
