The Scallop, a photo from Suffolk, England

On a clear and calm morning i went to Thorpeness Beach to amdire - well - the sunrise, but i had to stop and admire this huge Scallop sculpture, placed at a high point on the beach like a perfect throne for unseen giants resting and looking out to the vast horizon.

You are right the scallop sculpture is quite splendid but I still think the sky is the star of your picture. Colours and clarity quite special.

An excellent composition
The sculpture is at the perfect position and the photo has an amazing depth with the diagonal coastline and these houses in the far distance.
The colors of the beach, sky and sea go well together.

Hi Bogdan,
A nice composition with the shell sculpture on the right and the yellow band of sky on the left. It's an interesting sculpture in an interesting location, looking like a giant shell washed up by the waves. Good sharpness and light control.
