Photographer's Note

One of the most famous valleys in Scotland - Glen Coe. It is famous for two main reasons: it's topography and it's history. The name probably means narrow glen and for the sheer majesty of mountain scenery there is little to beat it anywhere. The north side of the glen is closely hemmed in by the jagged edge of the Aonach Eagach ridge, usually thought to be the most challenging ridge scramble in mainland Scotland.
