Photographer's Note
Loch Coruisk is hidden in the heart of the Black Cuillin mountain range in Skye and enjoys a reputation for being one of the most beautiful and mysterious lochs in Scotland, helped by the fact that it is only accessible by boat or on foot. The Loch is believed to have been formed around 280,000 years ago by glacial erosion, the last glacier retreating around 10,000 years ago. The surrounding Coullins are arguably the most trecherous and scenic mountains in the UK, attracting a lot of top quality climbing.

Hey, nice! This is exactly the kind of scenery I would like to see if I ever go to Scotland. My last and hopefully next dream coming true.

Went to Scotland in summer '05...and i lost this beautiful Loch?
The light coming from above gives to the stones on the left a lunar aspect...
