Photographer's Note

Caernarfon Castel-the most impressive of Edward I's fortifications and one of the "Iron Ring". 13 polygonal towered castel, which guards Afon Seiont (Saint River) and western end of the Menai Strait.

Photo been taken over 3-days escapade to Wales in 2010.

i remember very well your previous outstanding picture of this superb castle . This is another POV and another framing . May be a little less impressive , but as beautiful . I like the colors , the contrasts , the sky .

this is a fantastic view of the castle looking over the water. the stone work in the castle walls is superb. the blue sky and white clouds make a great backdrop to the scene.

Hello Barlomiej,

This is a stunning photograph of Caernarfon Castle and one of the very best that I have seen of this place. It must be over 50 years since I visited this place as a child with my parents and I would really love to visit it again.

Obviously taken on the same day as the other photograph to which you refer, this is perhaps not quite so dramatic a shot but is nonetheless exceptionally well taken: beautiful composition, gorgeous colours and stunning detail and sharpness.

L'image est bien fait en termes de contraste et la luminosité, le château est bien cadrée, aussi, la saturation des couleurs est bien rendue.

Hello Bartlomiej,

The vertical lines of the bg castle look perfect so the appearance of tilt of the horizon is an optical illusion. Good sharpness & marvellous colour & saturation. A wonderful blue sky that contrasts nicely with the yellow tints. Tfs!

non ti conoscevo e fino ad oggi non avevo avuto modo di osservare la tua gallery.
Oggi, nell'osservarla ho avuto modo di apprezzare la tua bravura e le tue belle foto, alcune delle quali scattate in Sardegna.
Questa mi è piaciuta in maniera particolare per il bel soggetto, la composizione, la nitidezza ed i colori.
Uno scatto eccellente che riprende una bella località nella maniera più naturale senza tante trasformazioni artificiose come ora sembra sia di moda.
