Photographer's Note

A view across the river Nevern towards Carn Ingli (Mount of Angels)which rises above the medieval town of Newport, with it's Norman Castle and Church.
Situated at the edge of the Preseli Hills, Newport is an ideal centre for touring the many ancient Celtic monuments to be found in the Welsh-speaking area of the Pembokeshire Coast National Park.

The Welsh name, Trefdraeth, can be translated to 'town by the beach' - a long, golden stretch of sand protected by craggy headlands. Ideal for swimming, windsurfing, sailing and canoeing.
