Photographer's Note
My Home Town - 9
This is the centre of the main road through the middle of town - you can see the east-west pedestrian traffic lights stranded in the midst of the fair. There is just so much human traffic and noise going on here - contained by the buildings, that it can be overwhelming - it's a real takeover if you live or work here - for me this picture - wall to wall framing - conveys this - there is little that stands still, overloaded senses, constant movement, too much to take in.
In some photos of the fair I deliberately look for quieter moments - usually on the edge but also sometimes in the midst of the action.
p.s. you may notice that the background ride is at it's maximum height so the business end is not visible in the picture.

This is a very nice image Kevin.
I love the background, but what I like is the life around it and the face of the woman on te left.. it's giving this image a special feling;

claude is 100% right; i love this type of photography - evning traffic of humans with a kind of "provocative" background full of colours and additinal action; very good shot, kev

And hi again, Kev.
This is too a very nice picture. The light wasn't easy but you managed very well.
Well done.
