Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This is the jetty for the Derwentwater ferry at Portinscale. In the mid-morning, the jetty lead to a very misty and mysterious lake. Although the edges of the lake were relatively clear, the main body of water was swirling with mist.

It reminded me of a holiday that we had in Corfu when we set off on a ferry, on a very beautiful day, between Agios Georgios and Palaiokastritsa. A few minutes out to sea a mist rolled down the hilside and completely engulfed the sea. We could see nothing and nervously listened to one of the crew, hanging from the prow, shouting intructions to the 'driver' as we shivered all the way to the port!

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a good w/e, Bev :-)
