Photographer's Note

This photo was taken from the Gateshead Millennium Bridge towards Tyne Bridge. Both bridges are spanning River Tyne between Newcastle upon Tyne (north of the river, right side here) and Gateshead (south of the river). Tyne Bridge which silhouette you can spot in the distance is a prototype of the much bigger Sydney Harbour Bridge, both built by the same company from North East England. The reason I visited Millenium Bridge on that very night was that it was a rare opportunity, (1-2 times per year) when the bridge is open for boats to pass at the blue hour.
