Photographer's Note
To mark my return to Trek Earth I am posting this view of my new home - the lovely coastal town of Whitby. Against a gathering storm, the church of St Mary's is illuminated by the late afternoon sun, with Whitby Abbey ruins behind. As all good Goths know, Tate Hill Sands below was where the 'Demeter' ran aground and Count Dracula escaped in the guise of a large black hound, in the novel by Bram Stoker.

Hello Maggie
9 years to return, must have been busy. I like your image of the town. the trees are a little distracting on the bottom right. But the church on the top looks like a citadel protecting the outlying area. Interesting. Maybe you will stick around a while. Welcome back

Hi Maggie,
Well balanced your photo composition with this nice landscape with castle on the top of these cliffs, interesting also the effect with the couple on the left side, nice light on the buildings, a photogenic POV, tfs.

Hello Maggie, Welcome back on TE after such a long break :). I am so happy to see you again. So you now live in Whitby. I was there. it is a lovely place, I am looking forward to seeing more pictures from there. Excellent composition, charming view of the town and the old ruined abbey above it. Nice inclusion of the couple relaxing on the bench.
Kind regards
MAg :)

Hi Maggie
I'm very glad to have clicked on this photo, what a beauty this is. So much to appreciate here. First, the two people sitting on the bench was a bonus, what a great addition that is. Secondly, the lighting and grey brooding sky. Looks as if its about to unleash a storm. and thirdly, just the overall view with the ruins up top, splendid shot. cheers
Craig
