Photographer's Note
Piers are fascinating structures, sadly some here in the Ukhave been destroyed due to fire. This is Southwold pier. It has an amusement arcade attheend. It gives a nice feeling of being out at sea but nosea sickness.

Hello David,
I'm not surprised that you were attracted to this pier as a photographic image, it creates a great, long perspective, especially with the repeating verticals.
You have made an excellent composition, with a good starting point, very effective guide line and nice regard to thirds.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello David,
The wood pier care for a lovely contrast against the white foam of the waves.
Pleasant panorama view with a cloudy sky.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John

Hi David,in fact british piers are lovely and this is a beautiful example,i remember well the Brighton one that i saw 29 years ago but that it's always on my mind,a great perspective very sharp and bright under the typical cloudy sky! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
