Photographer's Note
A city where I used to live. My life in London was like 'Black & White' in the past.
'When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life' quotes Samuel Johnson.
Well, I'm not tired of London, I'm escaping for quiet life. Therefore, leaving London...I've no regrets at all.
But I'll come back as tourist.
I'll add a colour one in WS and another view.

Hello Loong,
You have looked for an excellent viewpoint to present us this splendid architecture photo.
With attention to both historical buildings and modern architecture.
The many construction cranes indicate the continuous urban renewal of London.
Beautifully balanced picture.
Very nice is also the alternation of light and dark areas.
I'm looking forward till I can see your coloured version but the one is b&w is excellent!
Best regards, Paul

Hello Loong,
I love London as well. This is an amazing view of the modern skyline of the City. Good inclusion of a bit of the Tower in the foreground as well. The light was great and clear.

Hello Loong,
Personally I prefer the colors version, but can appreciate the work as B&W.
Truely, you can't be tired of London, I lived there myself for 5 weeks in 1978 after long tine 9in NYC - and found a vibrant city, but very different from A,erican mega-cities.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

Hello Loong,
Certainly a city to enjoy, with lots to see, and lots to explore but, like you, I am happily to return to a quieter, slower pace of life.
From ancient castle, to buildings reaching for the sky, this is a very eclectic skyline.
There are so many details, clearly captured, for us to dwell upon, from this excellent viewpoint.
I do prefer the b&w.
Have a good day,
Bev 😊

Hello Loong,
I had missed this photo. Although the original version is stunning (and so is the other WS) with its clarity and fine colours, this has a special big city atmosphere. Maybe the B&W tones express some of the nostalgia you feel for London. The bold shapes of some of these buildings are equally interesting, colours or not.
Thank you for showing such interest in my latest photo.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Loong, Nice view of London in black and white. I was in London something like forty years ago, so it looked quite differentwithout the modern buildings. I would like to spend some days in museums of London. It seemed that I could go there anytime. Who could suppose that it will be not so easy now.
Have a nice Sunday
