Titanic, a photo from Antrim, Northern Ireland

Photographer's Note

Because of COVID I haven't planned any trip.But two weeks ago my daughter-in-law told me about the sale of RyanAir tickets.At first I neglectef this piece if information but later I was curios and checked. When I saw tickets to Dublin fo 8.50 Euro return, I just couldn't resist. I bought the tickets. Fter that I was undecieded - to go or not. In Ireland (Republic) they recommend 14 days of self-isolation. But in Northern Island, that is the part of UK, one can traaaaavel without restrictions. So, finally I came to Dublin and afrom teh airport I went by bus to Belfast, without any problems.
Belfast is less popular on TE than Dublin. But I have found it very nice city. The big attraction is the Titanic Museum. It is fascinating experience.

The building has a great optical effect with all the different little facets reflecting the light. You have made the facade stand out well against the darker surroundings.

Glad you have been able to go on a trip again. This is a spectacular photo of this modern building. Beautiful silvery patterns on the large façade and the darker tones of the clouds make a great backdrop.

Hello Malgo,
I knew you were going here, so this doesn't come as a surprise. ;-) It's a fine building with a very interesting façade, but I would have liked to see a close view of the details too. Aren't the murals reminding of "the troubles" also a great attraction? Maybe you will show them later. I was in Belfast just before the violence started and remember it as a rather grey and dull city. I think it has changed very much after the peace agreement.

Ciao Malgo,not even Covid can stop your desire to escape ... ehhee ... excellent offer with Ryanair and all the tricks to avoid quarantine, that's it. A very special picture and building. At first I thought one side of the photo was a reflection of the other side but it isn't. I'd like to see more of this construction.
I hope the museum is interesting too.
I once flew even cheaper with that airline. From Belgium to Spain for € 2.50 (return ticket). No wonder that this company is so often in the news with their inhumane staff policy. For instance it registers its employees in the country with the weakest social legislation.
Also consumer associations regularly complain that the company does not handle passenger complaints properly.
That of course does not prevent me from wishing you a lot of fun on the green island.

Hox to ressist to such a low price, and there was not a 14 days quarantine at that date!
I feel the boat is full of fish and coming straight on me!
A small offcenter is good. I would have cut a little the top to avoid the triangle of the deep blue sky

Hello, i m happy that you visited Belfast, a city i know well. I ve never been to the Titanic museum. I like its futuristic design. Nice picture taken at the blue hour. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.
