Good Morning Everyone,

When autumn arrives, we may feel a little sad the the cold weather is on its way but, a real plus is that Nature puts on a wonderful display of shapes and colours.

In my garden, I just love the profusion of yellows and purples!
The pointed lupins are making a last brave show to compete with the fluffy, purple Michaelmas daisies, both purples showing up well against the star-shaped, yellow rudbeckia.

Isn't Nature wonderful!

Nice warm cold colour contrasts between the yellow daisies and the blue lupins. Good sharpness and tight framing with nice repetition of the blackberry shapes at the centre of each daisy. Tfs!

This time how would I not totally agree with you.
Nature is so wonderful if we know how to appreciate it. Not destroying it.
Btw, do you talk to the them? To tell them to put a colourful display of different shapes of flowers to show us here. And you do know your plants by names :-)
I do like Dahlia too and the purple daisies. I always wanted a lupin but never have one. Maybe, your picture inspires me to get one.

I visited UK during september and it was one of the places with more flowers I saw in my life. probably because the soft and humid weather of your hottest months. here flowers died fast during a hot week. my wild orchids are gone at this moment after ten days with flowers..even the flowers of the trees were destroyed in the last spring storm.
very beautiful view of the garden.

Notwithstanding no specially flowers, the flowers of the normally garden, but nice to look at

Hello Bev,
Your garden still shows bright colours in autumn that are very mixed.
In my garden the lupin has already lost its flowers and what is left of flowers is small and unobtrusive.
The lawn is partially flooded by the heavy rains of the last week.
I have to wait for spring for new color.

I see you are great in composing not only photos but also flowers in your garden! Great combination of colors. So well saturated purple and yellow. They go so well together.
Today the trees which I ordered for my gardens arrived :)

Hi Bev.
The combination of these yellow and purple flowers seems to me to be one of the most wonderful contrasts, ideal that kind of daisies with their dark button and what I say about the beautiful purple spike-shaped ..... which is spectacular.
Knowing that you have them in your garden, gives me a healthy envy.
Flowers are one of my favorite subjects because I adore them and I will have thousands of them, because when I travel, if I find a garden, I don't leave one without photographing, roses, dahlias, geraniums, carnations etc.
But whenever I have uploaded one, they have withdrawn it, so I no longer try, because the last time as a result of this, I left YOU for several months.
Very effective coloring, which highlights the details of the image.
Good management, both in terms of brightness and sharpness.
Very well done. I like it.
