Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Though I have many more photographs from the Himalayan Sculpture Park I don't want to bore you with items from the same place ... though they are all so different!

This is a curious sculpture by Christopher Marvell but I wonder if you noticed the double meaning in the title! (For those not sure - I tried 'angling' the photograph rather than capturing it straight on and 'angling' means searching for fish.)

I have researched him and he has produced other sculptures with creatures on a person's head, though the range of his work is vast.

The sculpture is in bronze, with a rich patina. I wonder if he intended to create such a strong contrast between the sculpture and the plinth upon which it stands.

The weather in Lancashire is fine and sunny. I hope you have a lovely Sunday, too, Bev :-)
