Photographer's Note

Some of the TrekEarth members share their photos from various light festivals or at least with Christmas light decorations. I thought I will interrupt my Lanzarote series with few more recent seasonal photos for a change.
This is a photo taken during an event called Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience in York.

The interior walls of St Mary Church in York were used to display on them the impressions of the famous artist. It was not an easy task for me to capture it because the most interesting paintings while projected on the walls were quite dark and they were constantly changing so there was no way to use the long exposure time neither. So this is just a quick moment when the artist portraits were appearing in a bright context on the wall. Keep in mind that there were no actual paintings there, everything you see on the old walls was a constantly changing projection.
