Photographer's Note

This is Glasgow Science Centre, a new tourist attraction by the River Clyde, part of a programme of regeneration on former wasteland by the river (I posted another photo from the same location titled "Glasgow Tower at Dusk" a while ago). The building across the river is a hotel while the building in the immediate foreground is an IMAX cinema. The Science Centre is the second building in the world to be built with titanium as its external covering after the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao.

I was attracted here by the reflections of the hotel and IMAX. I decided to use a view looking "over the shoulder" of the first building to add a bit of depth and scale to the scene and used a red filter to darken the sky a little to bring out the cloud formations.

I loved your "tower at dusk" in color media, and I would have bet that this place would not give a good result in B&W.
You just prove the contrary. Here the shapes are more outstanding, and there's a nice contrast between curves and lines. Great...
