Firstly I would like to thank all of you who congratulated me on reaching the 500 milestone on my previous post. Also thank you to all who visit my gallery leaving pearls of wisdom. ;D

This is the back view of Duncombe Park in the small market town of Helmsley. I’ve tried to find out about the statue but failed. There’s a huge picture of it in the Duncombe Park book but it doesn’t say what it is.

It is not tilted; if you look at the windows close to the ground you will see the land falls away slightly.

Thanks to Chris Jules who found a French Canadian website with the details, the statue is Father Time holding a Sundial. Just follow his thread for the details.
