Photographer's Note
Dear TE'ers i'am back. The research of the new series scientific tv program is almost done. First i go on a holiday to France (with my camera) for two weeks. Then we going to shoot for the new program and i get a wole new collections of pics for you.
Yesterday i found this picture. I take this picture on the tallship 'Eendracht'. This was my first trip on sea. We where on a two weeks journey. St-Malo, Guernsey, Dover, Oostende, Scheveningen. This picture i take with my old OM-10. The sea was very rough and spoky. There was a wind of 7 beaufort. I want to share this picture it was the first time on a bumpy North Sea.
Sorry for the noise, but my scanner is not very good and the picture was a bit scratch. I did autocontrast and levels. Some clone in the sky for the scratches. I hope you like.

Wel, wel Robert,
Dat is lang geleden. Welkom terug.
Je begint trouwens met een hele mooie,en dan nog een gescande foto ook, alsof ik op dat schip zit, dat gevoel. Prachtige compositie met een hele goede diepte, erg goed werk.

Nice shot Robert, the power of the sea comes across very strongly and I love the way the breaking waves lead the eye to the lighthouse and from there the eye follows the harbour wall back into and around the shot.
A very good shot and even the grain adds to it.

Nice experience. I think you suffered a lot with this rough sea. The composition is good despite the quality of the definition

Nice to see you back, Robbert. Even if old and scratchy, this photo is obviously one of yours for the "on-the-boat" seaside setting, and the dynamic rendition of the power of the tides. The lighthouse and the rock and harbor buildings make a good background.
Enjoy your vacation, and looking forward to the upcoming pics.

Welcome back, Robbert, it's been a long time, indeed. But you came back with an excllent shot, very dramatic and powerfull. I don't think that you should bother yourself with the noise, because it adds to the sens of a storm. A very good shot. I would like to see more of those.
