Photographer's Note
Lancing College lies in the Adur Valley, not far from the town of Lancing itself. The gothic-styled chapel - completed in 1911 - dominates the landscape for miles around.
The River Adur was once navigable as far upstream as Steyning, but nowadays the coastal port of Shoreham-by-Sea.
