Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

This is continuing my theme of moorland farmhouses and was taken at the end of the month when the spring took a backward step towards winter! The dark ominous clouds delivered a quick dusting of snow accompanied by icy cold temperatures!

This is a small farm, situated high on the hill and though exposed, has the advantage of excellent views across all its fields!

If you look carefully, you will be able to see some sheep behind the trees. These had all lambed. I am amazed how these small lambs survive such extreme temperatures! The farmers tell me the the rain is much more of a hazard!

Many thanks for stopping by.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph. :-)
