Photographer's Note

Shah Mosque (in persan : Masjed-e Shāh) is a mosque in Isfahan (Eşfahān), Iran standing in south side of Naghsh-i Jahan Square. It has been renamed to Imam Mosque after Islamic Revolution.

Built during the Safavids period, it is an excellent example of Islamic architecture of Iran, and regarded as the masterpiece of Persian Architecture. The Imam Mosque of Esfahan is one of the everlasting masterpieces of architecture in Iran and all over the world. It is registered along with the Naghsh-i Jahan Square as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its construction began in 1611, and its splendor is mainly due to the beauty of its seven-color mosaic tiles and calligraphic inscriptions.

Mohammad this is a fabulous shot. I like how your used existing features to frame it and the colors of the mosque are astonishing not to mention the sky. Very well presented.

Je ne comprend pas j'ai l'impression qu'il y ait un montage, mais je n'en suis pas sure quelque fois la nature nous joue des tours et des effet d'optique... on a l'impression que le ciel vient d'une autre époque... j'aime beaucoup ce cadrage, félicitation et à bientôt...

Oh yes this is a lovely shot with interesting light.
I can't tell if it's moonlight or just a dark sky?

Very nice view of the mosque roof, where the contrast of colors is very well done. The blue color attract immediately you eyes and the arch frame is a great idea.

Hi Mohammad. You have presented this interesting structure in a complex composition,full of varied shapes , rich colour and differing textures. But the whole thing hold together very well and makes a complete and satisfying image.No doubt the use of the great dark arch to frame the image help in this.
