Wet Ride II, a photo from Akko, Northern

Photographer's Note

A second shot of the wet ride (I got plenty of them). Many of you didn't like the too small space in front of the horse, so I found another one with more space. I used a larger zoom here.

Taken in Akko (Acre). Akko is a very old city in the north of Israel, on the Mediterenean coast.

Yitzhak, This sure is nicer IMO than the previous post. The space makes a difference, as does the "wake" behind the horse

I like the way it seems the man is working almost as hard as the horse, both look really tense. The reflection in the water covering the horse is very beautiful and though i didn't see the one with too litle space in front I do like that this horse has a place to go ;o)

Excellent capture on film, good sharpness and composition, motion well frozen. Probably a much tighter crop would be interesting as well, offering a better detail of the team effort.

j'aime aussi cette photo moins poétique que le première. Celle ci dégage de l'énergie et le plan rapproché me convient, l'effort du cheval est bien rendu par justement l'absence d'espace devant lui. bien vu.

Well Yitzhak, I don't mind the small space in front, but this one is excellent also, a good feeling of freedom, both are happy, the man and the horse, excellent movement feeling too. Very nice catch.

Belle prise, je préfère ce plan rapproché par rapport à la dernière photo.
Je trouve que l'effort est plus perceptible ici. Intéressant.

Like most of your photos Yitzhak, this is an interesting study. The border complements the colour of the sea and the action shot is well-executed. Can I throw a spanner in the works & say I would have preferred LESS space in front of the horse? (;

Yes, I guess your two posts together are offering fine alternatives to both the "more space" and "less space" groups ;-) I'll admit being in favor of "more space", and I really like this one a lot. It conveys such a sense of freedom and dynamic, and the colors and light are really nice. Good job, Itzik.

That looks like fun! This one is nice with the space in front, giving the animal room to run. Althoug I don't expect it will go very fast in that water.

A choisir je prefere celle la car elle a un seul point d'attraction et cela permet d'avoir un cadrage qui vas dans le sens de la scene.
Mais il est vrai que le choix n'est pas facile des fois.

Pourquoi pas se rafraîchir en même temps ...rire...j'ai dejà tout vu sur TE, des vaches sur une plage auprès de touriste, ect...maintenant au fait du cheval dans l'eau, equitation aquatique...belle composition, bon rendu dans les couleurs et l'animation...bravo BI
