Photographer's Note

Ricinus communis known as the Castor plant, Kikayon in Hebrew (pronounces Ki-KA-Yon), also mentioned in the bible, in the Book of prophet Jonah, The Kikayon-Parable, Chapter 4, paragraph 6.

It has a very poisonous fruits which can be seen on this picture, like the Corona virus…

It will blossom through the summer in Israel, wildly grow, mainly in open fields but as a youngster I recall plants in urban areas as well.
Spotted on the field where I showed the latest green tractor, near the Ben-Gurion airport.
