Photographer's Note
The tallest tower in Tel-Aviv from a different point of view (sorry to be boring, but could not resist taking this one more shot at it).
The Azrieli-Sarona tower is 238.5 metres (782 ft) high with 53 floors, location on the map is at 32.0715, 34.7892.

*** For several different reasons, I am very busy lately, so humbly I say that still I manage to see every photo on TE, daily, even when not posting new pictures, nor have the spare time to travel for new stuff. Thanks to you all.

Hello Ike,
The skyscraper looks like it may have been fractured in an earthquake, but still I much prefer this to the rather boring concrete rectangular shapes popular in the 70's. Good sharpness and the arching street lamp acts as a frame. Tfs!

Hello Ike,
I really like the twisted architecture of the tower. Its pattern and bluish colours are also very appealing. You captured it on a wonderfully sunny and bright day.

Hello Ike,
The curiously arched street lamp makes an apt frame for the skyscraper that looks as if it has been split in two by a giant axe. Pleasant lights and colours and very good sharpness.

Hello Ike,
The light and reflections have created nice patterns on the façades of the very originally designed skyscraper. Mainly it has here lent itself to yet another composition with the elegantly curved lampposts given prominent positions on the left side. The building is inscribed inside the curve of the nearest lamppost. As usual an immaculately exposed photo.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Ike,
This photo shows beautifully how the contemporary architects inspire each other and often design their own variant on a theme that they admire of their colleagues.
Perhaps not very original but also in the music there are many wonderful compositions made inspired by or quoting other people's compositions.
Moshe Tzur Architects have given their own twist in this attractive design.
Excellent picture
Have a nice day, groet Rob

Hi Ike,
very interesting modern skyscraper, and you have also presented it in a creative way with the original lamps which add to the attractive geometry another shape yet.
I like also the other buildings which add some context and the shade at the very bottom.
The blue sky makes such a wonderful background for it.
Great work,
M

Hi Ike,
The lamposts seem to be framing the buildings. I appreciate the reflections on the windows. The point of view is showing the details of the highrise buildings. The light has a good effect on the colours. Have a nice day.

Bonjour Ike,

J'aime beaucoup !

Hello Ike,
Don't apologise, this is a fine, highly individual building and can be photographed from different angles, at different times, to render quite different effects!
I love how you have used the arched lamp, giving a dramatic effect to the scene. (It reminded me of the arched, swaying sculptures on Blackpool Promenade.)
It's a pleasing composition with fine details of this quite unique building!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Ike,
The tallest tower in Tel-Aviv but in two parts.
This is absolutely a additional architecture.
You chose a wonderful angle.
This create depth and perspective to the picture.
Composition and presentation are excellent made.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice day,
John.

Hello Ike, like you, sometimes life takes over, and there just isn't the time to get out and about to take new shots.
No worries, this is a fine shot; the curved arm of the street light is perfectly placed guiding our eyes as well as framing this impressive new tower.
I like the inclusion of the much smaller buildings in the foreground, with their more traditional geometric design, providing a good contrast.
Regards Jean.

Ciao Ike
bel gioco di linee in questa composizione verticale, con l'inserimento dei lampioni, hai ottenuto anche delle linee curve che spezzano la serie di linee verticali.

Hello, Ike.
A magnificent composition, this center of modern and large buildings where the Azrieli Tower stands beautifully above all others both for its height, as for its beautiful design.
Magnificent management of brightness and sharpness.
Well seen and done. I like it.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hi Ike
no need to apologize at all, this is great, you know I love this type of subject. its cool how buildings can look so much taller, or shorter depending on the perspective. Here it looks huge, in other photos you too, when its from far far away, it doesn't seem to be so 'dominating'. Here it clearly dominates the skyline. awesome! cheers

Very interesting twisted post, mathcing very nicely the modern buildings and creating a pattern with the twisted and apparently collapsing building. Did the architect think of that or was it the eye of the photographer? Good work!

Hello Ike
Even the lamp posts are twisted. A fine capture of this modern architecture. Nice composition with the twisted lamp post placed in the foreground. I can see some interesting reflections along the facade of the twisted building. Fine work:) Thanks.

Shalom Ike,
a good sample of the design work of the israelian architects here.
And a very efficient vertical framing in order to catch its whole beauty, and its interesting twisted shapes.
I like a lot the inclusion in your point of view of this lamppost as a nice frame for the skyscrapper.
A perfect management of the camera settings has give you a great photo here.
Friendly regards,
Josep

Hello Ike Very appropriate in the modern Tel Aviv are these bending-over-buildings "sensors" seeking for extraterrestrial signals, carriers of new ideas to rejuvenate the city just like the appealing look of the twisted giant! Very appealing juxtaposition! Shalom

Ike, the point of view creates an optical illusion. It is as if the twisted street lamp was very close and taller than the Azrieli-sarona tower in the bg. The brand new construction contrasts with older and smaller buildings at its foot. Fine colors, good image quality and excellent framing, regards.
