Photographer's Note
It was a strange sight under thin clouds / low-light prevailing the day visited the Apollonia cliff.
On the main photo hardly distinguished the sight from the sea to the sky. Thus, the effect upon the outcome looks intriguing.
The sea was flat, so many boats and vessels were out, off the Herzliya marina.
One WS.
Location at the Herzliya sea 32.173, 34.795 on the map.
RAW, F7.1, 1/500, ISO100, cropped much of the top.

Hi Ike,
Interesting effect with this see and sky with the same rendering, no difference. Beautiful panoramic view with all these boats, well captured, a photo like a high key version, tfs.

Hi Ike,
nice effect indeed with the sea color perfectly matching the sky. I do prefer if it is blue-blue than white-white but nevertheless the effect is amazing with the sailboats seemingly floating in the sky.
Very well spotted,

Hello Ike,
This is so minimalistic that I didn't even know what to make of it when looking at the thumbnail. Reindeers seen from a distance in the snow of Lapland? No, boats sailing off the Israeli coast! I like this extreme simplicity and that we can hardly tell the difference between the sky and the sea.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Ike,
The wideness of the sea is giving depth to the compositon. The low cloud is hiding the horizon. The point of view is showing some details of the boats. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike, I love this, quite minimal but delightful.
There are a great variety of different boats out there.
The horizon is almost invisible, we have to imagine where it is!
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Ike,
Both photographs are interesting but this one particularly gives the impression of a painting, where a blue wash has been applied and the boats painted on to the consistent b/g.
It is very surprising.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Ike,
Nice repetition of the yachts. The identical colour and tone of the sea and sky makes them appear as one continuous backdrop. Tfs!

Hello Ike,
This do my thinks at the old pen drawing with sea as subject.
Minimalistic but nice to look at.
Excellent sharp and clear presentation.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hi Ike,
This time the grey weather had certain charm. It is almost impossible to see the horizon. But still all those sailboats are pretty well visible even far away.

Hello Ike,
The light blue sea and sky worked very well together to create one backdrop for the many sailboats. Well spotted and captured.

Hello Ike,
On the thumbnail this looked very weird.
In real size, the many smaller and larger sailboats seem to float somewhere, between sky and sea.
Fortunately, you found a suitable higher spot on the cliff.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Ike,
I like how the sky and sea blend together in this photo. It's unusual that they are exactly the same color. All the sailboats dotting the water are lovely, too. Take care!
P.S. The photo seems a bit bright, and I tried to post a WS with some minor adjustments, but it seems that you have the WS setting turned off. :-)

Hi Ike,fantastic pic, a very curious effect made by these lights and clousdu sky, there isn't a border between sea and sky, the boats seems to be in the..nothing. A very original capture and an excellent close up in the WS too. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hi Ike
It must have been hard deciding whether you had the horizon flat. A good photo with the even sky/water colour.
cheers

Hi Ike.
A strange photo, the boats seem as if they were painted on a gray-blue sheet, looking closely at the horizon line seems to be glimpsed at some point.
Good job. I like it.
You have a good day. Very best regards.
Luis.
