Photographer's Note

The power of the sun has such a dramatic effect on us, that it seems that the universe is sending us a message each time we see a sunset like this one.

The fisherman added another meaning for me, and I tried to compose this to make a connection between the two, and create "a story".

Brilliant shot. The positioning of the sun as it reaches out is perfect against the casting fisherman. Some nice colour and I enjoy the darkness towards the edge of the shot.

From the thumbnail i thought it was a statue (of Jesus or a saint). With the sun behind and the light, it almost seems like it was conveying a message. It reminds me of paintings in churches.
Great silhouette.
