Photographer's Note

One thing I have noticed here in Jordan is that people like to be buried near holy sites- some of the places I have visited almost always contain a graveyard close by. I find it very amusing to think about, almost as if they are tying to gain some sort of closeness to the place.

Here is no exception, The mosque you see in the background holds the resting place of the “The Prophet Gad”, as the locals call him, he is the seventh son of Jacob, and therefore one of the brothers of Joseph. and is the father of one of the twelve tribes of Israel.

His Brother Asher is located only a few Kilometers down the road
