Photographer's Note

A Bedouin child in the village below the castle of Shawbak or Shobak. Most of the Bedouins now live in fixed residents but still in the desert areas some 40.000 live according to their ancient traditions. They live in tents, have cattle and move around to places for their animals. The structure of the Bedouin life is still as it was hundreds of years ago (feudal).
This kid accompanied a sheperd with goats, sheep and 1 mule.
