Photographer's Note
At the Library of Celsus. One of the largest library at its time at the height of the Roman empire. Ephesus was the second largest city after Rome.
The Cat of Ephesus. Delights in posing for me as I snapped away. There are throngs of tourists at this place and I was lucky to have this shot without the background full of humanity at that very moment.

Bonjour Sam,
J'aime beaucoup cette composition.Le chat prend fièrement la pose dans son royaume d'Éphèse. Quel regard et quel arrière plan.
Bon samedi

Hello Sam,
Ruins of ancient sites seem to be an attractive place for cats to live. I've also seen cats on archaeological sites in Greece and in the Colosseum in Rome.
This one poses very proud in front of her well visited home.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Sam,
Original view with these famous ruins and the cat like an old statue. Sharpness is well managed, pleasant soft light, tfs.

Hello Sam,
Charming capture of this dignified cat sat amongst the ruins. Fine control over depth of field to lift him from the background and yet still set him clearly in context.
