Rocks with a Watchtower on the Seafront, a photo from Rize, Black Sea

Photographer's Note

The Black-Sea shore of Turkey is rich in picturesque sea-front rocks and rocky islets. There are a lot of them in Rise Province too. This small archipelago with the watch tower called Kiz Kalesi on one of its islands is located at the western part of the town of Pazar, near the motor-transportation tunnel "Pazar 2" on D.010 state road.

The incidence of the light is pleasant on these rocks. The coast is magnificent in this place. The dynamics of the sea adds to the show. Pleasant composition, skillfully constructed, and good quality. Bravo.

A beautiful sea shore with these rocks producing different colors due to the light falling on them. Nice waves of water hitting the rocks. Excellent composition with superb colors and quality. Nice inclusion of archipelago with the watch tower.

Very cold rough coast.

Very nice seascape with an excellent managment of a verfy nice light. The very impressive and very dynamic FG give depht to the image. Good balalnce in the composition too with the tower well off-centred on the right of the image.

This image is wonderful with these big rocks and islets in the background, this gives a great charm, along with a fabulous light, golden sunset, wonderful POV at the time of the waves breaking against the rocks, with the ideal image remains of the tower on that island.

The setting sun playing with the white surf gives a fine light effect!
The seaside evening mood is nicely transmitted, and the warm light gives a fine glow to the landscape...
