Trabzon sunset, a photo from Trabzon, Black Sea

Photographer's Note

Most of the days during my stay in Trabzon province, the weather was bad, cloudy, but with dull, boring, indifferent skies. And then, every afternoon, the sky was transforming, around sunset the clouds were taking every kind of beautiful and interesting shapes. Photo taken in one of the many little harbors of Trabzon.

Hi Hercules!
Very lovely shot! The gold at the sun`s centre seems perfect to me and well controlled, as does the color of the clouds. The darker foreground seems to work okay for me, to really make a gorgeous photo. Haven`t visited your gallery in a long time....you really have your own style, that is marvellous. Kind regards,

Hello Hercules,
Your note makes me think back at my visit - long time ago - of the Black Sea coast in Turkey and every day there I had that dull, boring, cloudy weather. But as soon as I travelled to the interior of the country the weather became very bright and hot.
So I missed this splendid Trabzon sunset.
The clouds, in many different colours, are nicely spread over the whole sky and the reflection of the light gives a wonderful orange colour at the sea.
I wonder what the arch (or building) on the horizon is (right under the sunset).

This is real a dream picture with a wonderful and colorfully sky.
Also the lake and the two silhouettes of the men around the lake.
Colors and sharpness are very well.
