Eski Erzurum Evleri is an old house in Erzurum converted to a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating for diners. Here's one of the indoor rooms. Quite cosy in winter, too! Can't believe I haven't uploaded any shots in this series to Trekearth.

Hi Chris,a truly original restaurant, certainly attractive for foreigners to relive the ancient atmosphere, but also certainly uncomfortable having no chairs, the photo reflects the magical feeling of the place and conveys it perfectly. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Chris,
I gradually learned to like Erzurum during several visits in the early 1970's, but although a nice city it wasn't the slightest bit trendy, so nobody would have thought of a place like this then. Now it really looks cosy with this warm light, bright furnishing and interesting old utensils. It's very well exposed and with good sharpness.

Hello Chris, it all looks very cosy but I am not sure that I would be comfortable sitting on the floor.
Well managed light, the details are very sharp.

The room looks indeed very cozy.
The many cushions and carpets with their warm colours and beautiful patterns provide a lot of charm.
Still, I'm a bit surprised that this is a restaurant.
