Photographer's Note

This one is another of the photos that I took from the terrace in the roof of my hotel in Istanbul, already I have presented other views before.
I do not need many words to describe this scene that I tried to catch at purple hour, except that to enjoy those sights, taking some drink up there, was an unforgettable experience.
Here you can see, from below, the Golden Horn, the Galata Bridge, the Galata Tower, and the modern architecture of the tall buildings of Taksim's area. The luminosity of the sunset, the tones in the sky, and the lighting of the city were deserving to capture some photos.

Ésta es otra de las fotos que tomé desde la terraza en la azotea de mi hotel en Estambul, ya he presentado otras vistas antes.

No necesito muchas palabras para describir esta escena que capté a la hora púrpura, salvo que disfrutar aquellas vistas, tomando alguna copa, fue una experiencia inolvidable.
Aquí podéis ver, de abajo arriba, el Cuerno de Oro, el Puente Gálata, la Torre Gálata, y la moderna arquitectura de los altos edificios de la zona de Taksim.
La luminosidad de la puesta de sol, los tonos en el cielo, y la iluminación de la ciudad merecían tomas algunas fotos.

Very nice blue hour capture from İstanbul.But even nice title !
It's true. Istanbul's beautiful skyscape is been invaded by skyscrapers and modern buildings which absolutely does not fit to the wllkonown cityline.
You've achieved here a perfect lightmanagement. Very good sharpness.

Aleluya.... despertaste del letargo invernal!!!!!!!!!
Maravillosa composicion nocturna, que nos hace disfrutar mucho gracias a la gran calidad de la imagen, con los muchos detalles de la ciudad y sus edificios, donde ya comienzan a aparecer altas torres, alterando la vista clasica de la misma.
Ideal la luz y color tan bonito que has captado en el cielo, los colores de las luces estan tambien muy bien matizados.
Es un magnifico trabajo y espero no nos dejes tanto tiempo sin disfrutar de tu buen hacer.

Thousands of bulbs illuminated the night over the city skyline, most intriguing and well taken shot.
The towers on far stand excelent contrast to the pink-purple sky, and clear view of the houses in closer range.

The late evening panoramic capture of Istanbul is fabulous!It captures well its urban character,but thanks to this special light and warm colors in very pleasant and atmospheric way.

Hello Josep, I stayed in the nice hotel near Sultamahmet but I had no such view. Magnificent panorama with Beyazid Tower as main theme. breath taking view with marvelous colours and light.

Nice composition, this picture gives a warm glow of the night, its a good exposure and you have some nice sky detail and the lights are not overpowering. A sweeping view of the skyline, detail and the best colors rendition and great contrast to sky colour. Well done shot, Congrats.

felicidades por este precioso reportaje fotográfico que nos estás ofreciendo de Estambul.
las tomas son maravillosas, a cual mejor.
A esta solo le falta la brisa de la ciudad, para que nos encontremos en el lugar.
Yo puedo decirlo, pues estaba allí en el momento que hacías el disparo, que supera la belleza de la realidad.
EXCELENTE!!! panorámica, con la Torre Galata destacando de anfitriona.
Los colores, la nitidez y el elegante encuadre insuperables.
Bueno no tengo mas palabras para definirte mi admiración ante tu trabajo, tan cuidado en todos los aspectos.

Josep, los colores de esta hora son impressionantes de verdad pero más que todo me encanta la Torre de Galata por su presencia muy fuerte y por la luz..una más de nuestra ciudad preferida que ahora está pasando unos momentos difíciles...

yes i like it indeed.
I'm sure others such as Lisa will enjoy it too, as there are many fans of purple/pink/blue/black hour photography.

the sky almost steals the show, but for me personally its the 2 tallest buildings way in the bg that catch my eye the most.

they have an almost metallic look to them.
really enjoy the yellow windows throughout too.
