Hi Ayfer,
I like the boat and its occupant in isolation on the water against the city background. I also like the virtually monotone colouring. The boat is well placed off centre in the composition too.

What is interesting here is the opposition between the modern and crowdy city in the FG and the lonely man on his boat at the FG
Well done even if the BG is masked by the atmospheric fog

İyi günler Ayfer Hanım,
Sizin galerinizi Miguel’e yazdığınız bir yourumdan buldum. Galerinizde pek güzel resimler var. Buna gözüm takıldı. Bakış açısı çok güzel. Net, uzaktaki yelkenliyi bile görebiliyorum. Arka plandaki dağların pus içinde kalması da pek güzel olmuş. Fakat bu resmin en güzel öğesi kompozisyonu. Diğer bir yorumcunun söylediği gibi, arkadaki şehrin kargaşasıyla sandaldaki adamın yalnızlığı pek güzel bir tezat olmuş.

The haze creates a really interesting backdrop here, Ayfer, almost like a screen painting behind the boat; it strips the city of all of its dimensionality and depth. The result is actually a really strong graphical image, where the water and the background blend toether leaving the silhouetted man on the boat to stand out sharply. Very cool effect and a nice shot.

Merhaba Ayfer Hanim,

Enfes bir manzara, ve çok sevdigim Simon and Garfunkel'in müzignle beraber yüklemissiniz. Bir kaç yil evvel uzun boylusunla (Garfunkle) tanismistim, üstelik de Istanbul-Venedik vapur seyahatinde.

Hello dear Ayfer,
welcome back! I like this scene very much, you have composed the image excellently. There's a marvellous juxtaposition of the simple foreground and the intricate background. The little boat and the lonely figure standing on it, so dark and well defined, catch our attention at first and when we look beyond them we discover a tremendous amount of details, half hidden in the dimness of the distance. The grey/blue tones that dominate the image are wonderful. Congratulations and thank you!
