Hi Jerzy
Quite a pleasant surprise to see you posting another one here. A near-abstract picture with a rather ominous feel to it, as if you're being pessimistic on spanning the gap between east and west (or whatever it is between). Don't know if that's what you intended, though. Great picture it sure is!

the result is there, just as it is, with a sharp bridge and sufficiently blurred trees and wires, giving a hint that you were in a moving vehicle. i wouldn't even bother taking this shot, but you imagined the result and clicked at the right moment. that is the natural result of so much experience in shooting objects, and knowing what kind of a result you can get from unexpected moments. pessimism? i don't think so. just an experiment that ended with success.

Hi Jerzy,
I know how many great photo's you have taken in Istanbul (and recent Thailand ones too), but this one is something different, and I like it as well - the abstract feel and style.
The feel of a snapshot, a fleeting small moment yet in a significant, grand place such as the meeting of continents, makes it a different perspective on such a place.
Cheers
Justin
