Oludeniz Beach, a photo from Mugla, Aegean

Photographer's Note

Children frolicking in the water on a warm Spring day at Oludeniz Beach near Fethiye in south west Turkey. The lagoon is behind me here. Para-sailors like to leap from the cliffs around here and tandem jumps are popular. The main area of the beach for a dozen or so parked tour boats, and the main road connection to Hisanronu and Fethiye are at the end of the beach.

Hi Chris,i seen the same beach in July and it's very different...ehehe...very peacefull in May as i can see,but think that water was very cold...beautiful view caught in the usual excellent quality,i like it! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

The curve of the beach is giving depth to the composition. The presence of the people is animating the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the beach and of the mountain. The good luminosity is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

I would not expect the water to be warm enough to swim in May, but here is proof that it is. It has been years since I have been to Fethiye, as it can be seen in this photo.
