Photographer's Note

We finally made it to IST. This was the first time I was at the new airport. It was big, it was modern, but I found it devoid of personality. The color scheme was too sterile (see workshop photo). This enormous passage was simply grey and teal. The steel beams were teal and everything else was shades of grey. The only color of note was the red handbag of the lady in front of me. So I post-processed the photo appropriately.

BTW, I found out that there are two Arnavutköys in Istanbul. One is the quaint little district by the Bosphorus where my high school was located and the other is near the new airport, now rising to fame because of the airport. I looked in TE and discovered that most (if not all) photos from Arnavutköy are by the Bosphorus. So, in order not to confuse the two locations, I made up a new city called Arnavutköy by Airport. I hope future uploaders will pay attention to the distinction.
