Photographer's Note
This is most people's first view of the Selime Monastery. The red arrows on the rock faces indicate upwards direction of travel and the white arrows are for tourists heading downwards. I might load a workshop later of a closer view almost at the bg terrace. There is less than a page of shots from here on TE.

Hello Chris,
You were lucky to find two persons strategically placed to help us understand the way up the rock to the monastery. The white wooden fence also tells us where the track goes. Amazing scenery and a very well exposed photo.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Chris, an excellent point of view that emphasises the height of the rock and the unusual position of the monastery.
The sharpness too is excellent.
It doesn’t look the easiest of paths to walk. The white railings help to guide us to the right place.
Luckily you had two visitors there to aid our concept of the scale.
Kind regards, Jean

Hi Chris
Interesting location & geology indeed and a portrayal of a very ancient monastery that seems to grow organically out of the rugged rocks and looks so camouflage. The combination of colour looks cool, beautiful with feel of depth and height. Congrats.
Best wishes

Bonjour Chris,
Les rochers cadrent bien le monastère. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du monastère de Selime. La lumière rehausse la beauté des couleurs. Bonne journée.

Hello Chris,
A spectacular view of this place and a great upwards view of the impressive rock formations around the monastery. Also the yellow and greenish tones are very nice in this gentle sunlight. Well done.

Hi Chris
That's an impressive place. Great photo, love the textures of the rock and the perspective you create. Apologies for my absence here, I'm really only dropping in after the sad news of Serghei's passing. Please take good care of yourself and it's nice to keep in touch on FB at least.

Hi Chris,
Strange landscape with these rocks, well framed, good angle and good human presence to give a scale at your view, tfs. Interesting and origina monastery, tfs.

Yet another amazing post from those mountains, Chris.
Scaled by the visitors we see on the trail and up the rock, shadows enhancing the contourlines of the rocks added good contrasting tones.
Good afternoon,

Hello Chris.
This general view of the towering rocks that serve as the location of the monastery is wonderful, but in the WS photo we were amazed at the huge and various entrances to it, we mean that the mountain must be practically hollow.
Good perspective of the image, very pleasing to the eye.
Colorful, sharpness and luminosity are captured effectively.
Very good composition, magnificent presentation.
Have a good weekend.
Warm greetings.
Luis.

Hello Chris,
From this angle it looks like one of those Harry Potter monsters that just ate a child and is reaching out for that poor woman in the blue skirt. Poor lady, she doesn't look worried even in the slightest way!
Regards,
MT
