Photographer's Note

Central Turkey for a change. With the innumerable photographs available on the Internet and travel brochures Kapadokia is a region you might think to know without even going there. We weren't even supposed to be there, but due to a series of coincidences on the way back from Iran we woke up one day, completely unexpectedly, in the middle of this fairy-like land, right on time to see the sunrise. Whether because of the visit being so "out of the blue", or thanks to the scenery, or the Turks we spent the day with- Kapadokia became one of the highlights of the whole trip and I felt I just had to share some of the views:-)
It seemed that we were the only ones to admire the sunrise from the ground- a lot of visitors decide to see it from a higher point of view in one of the colourful balloons.
