Photographer's Note

I spent a very enjoyable ten minutes watching this guy swing around on this structure with his large bucket of paint and was so impressed by his movement .....what was amusing was that he was swinging around looking for which bits of the upper structure hadn't been painted....he tested them with his hands and then wiped them on his trousers. Meanwhile his workmate lounging on the roof and just out of shot around the corner was busy on his mobile phone.......so perhaps they were sharing the job. i was really impressed by the speed at which I saw some jobs done - one roadworks job near where I was staying took less than a day to strip the surface, dig the massive hole, sort the problem and re-instate - I'm sure this would be three days minimum in the UK .........or perhaps that wasn't typical!
