Hi Petar,
I agree, this does not look of this planet, and in fact it's surface with missing parts reminds me of the famous Borg Cube from star trek. Even though I wasn't a big fan of the show, that particular species always interested me. The sun glinting from the lower section could be a laser getting ready to shoot. Really clever idea to convert this to black and white, it works vy well indeed and makes a beautiful photo.
