Photographer's Note

Inspired by the British rowing tradition, the Ottawa Rowing Club holds its annual Head of the Rideau at the end of September. On a 4,5km course with many meanders, rowing crews compete for fastest chronos. There is constant traffic at the river head, with crews pulling out after their race while other crews are launching their boats for the next. When there are too many boats, traffic jams occur...

In photoshop, from a low res picture, cropped, sharpened, rubber stamped few heads in the foreground and a parking on the background.
